How to choose a watch size and fit

Start with your wrist measurement

Measure around the wrist where you plan to wear the watch using a flexible tape. Record the measurement and the unit. Your wrist circumference helps you check the strap or bracelet range; it does not determine one ideal case diameter.

1. Wrap the tape around your wrist without pulling it tight.
2. Note the measurement in centimeters or inches. One inch is 2.54 centimeters.
3. Compare it with the listed wearable range for the exact option you want.

Compare the case separately from the strap

Check case diameter and thickness, plus lug-to-lug length when available. Diameter describes the width of the case; lug-to-lug describes its length across the wrist. A watch can have a suitable bracelet length and still feel too large or thick for your preferences.

Use a watch you already find comfortable as a reference. Compare its measurements with the listing rather than relying on a close-up photograph. Ask whether the quoted diameter includes the crown if that is unclear.

Check bracelet adjustment before ordering

For a bracelet, ask for its maximum wearable circumference, whether links can be removed, and what adjustment is needed. For a strap, ask for the wearable range and fastening type. Adjustment services offered by another retailer do not establish what is included with an icewatchus order.
